Dude, you guys are crazy. I don't even like batman. I always thought the idea of some guy dressed as a bat going around fighting crime was stupid. But even I was blown away by this film. It's one of those rare movies that had a huge amount of hype, and then actually lived up to it. Ledger, Eckhart, and every other actor in this movie was AMAZING. And the story was dark and tense, totally drew me in.

FINALLY, someone with sence. i totally agree with you. i was never interested in movies before and when i saw this i was blown away. and same, i never watch any batman things before but just wow. this was totally amasing. the cast is amasing. the script and everyhting. truely amasing.

Easily the greatest movie I've seen in my life.
The way Heath Ledger pulled his Joker character off is just simply stunning.
If a third movie IS in the works, I'd like the Penguin and the Riddler to be involved in the second sequel.

Note this guys: the reason why the movie was this hyped because it was Ledger's last performance. And fans of Ledger went to go see him for the last time (even though he will be in another one coming out in 2009.) But the movie itself was great. My concern was Ledger's role as the Joker. In my opinion for the definition of acting, it's Heath Ledger. He did a good job and I believe he deserved an oscar for that. It wasn't easy getting prepared for that role.
